Cookie Policy

• lp-theme — remembers whether you chose light, dark or system appearance. Set only when you change the setting, and kept until you clear it.
• lp-tz — your browser's timezone, so the statistics you see are grouped by your local days rather than UTC. Set when you open the dashboard, kept for a year.
• sb-… — your sign-in session, set by our authentication provider. Present only while you are signed in, and removed when you sign out.

If you open somebody's public page, or click one of their links, the server sets no cookie at all. The click redirect and the page-view beacon are deliberately excluded from anything that touches a session, and the page itself is rendered by a client that carries no cookies.

The page statistics a creator sees do not depend on cookies. They are the five non-identifying fields described in the Privacy Policy.

Consent is required for cookies that are not necessary to provide a service the user asked for. All three of ours are either strictly necessary (the sign-in session) or set as the direct result of something you did (choosing an appearance, opening your own dashboard). We set none of them on a visitor of a public page. So there is nothing to ask you to agree to, and we would rather not interrupt you to say so.

The same goes for the app-usage measurement described in the Privacy Policy: it runs only in the account area, and it stores nothing on your device — no cookie, no local storage — so it needs no consent either.

Every browser can show, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking ours will sign you out and reset your appearance preference; nothing else will break.
